RELOCATABLES PROJECT BRIEF

The aim of the Relocatables Cafe project is to design an outdoor café space for the Cockburn area with concern for sustainability and recycling local materials.

THE DESIGN

The design team wanted to create a modern outdoor environment out of shipping containers, to link the space to its port and harbour area heritage. The challenge was in using these old industrial structures to create something new, modern and intriguing, and the result was a stunning space that is designed for sustainability and the environment.
